Karen Mara posted a topic in AirlinesPilots have suffered for too long. Aviation Networks should be built for them, but joining a community of like-minded aviation enthusiasts can be quite a challenge for new pilots. Most of the time they do not have the same well-organised and welcoming community structures like ATC have. We want to change this by putting special emphasis on airlines. We will reveal more information about the Airline system we have planned in the next few weeks. We want to encourage our community members to create discussions, have general chat and organise community events. If you are interested in registering an airline, and have them fly on the Rotate Network, please reply to this topic.
Virtual Airlines - First Look
Guest posted a topic in AirlinesAirlines are the backbone of the Rotate Community for pilots. We want to facilitate them with a support system which will be deeply integrated into the Rotate Network’s structure. For the first time all major aspects of real-world airlines will be present and integrated into a flight-sim network. The Airline Dashboard gives Airline managers a detailed overview of all flights and helps them communicate to active airline pilots via the network-wide CPDLC integration. Similar to the Live Map you can track every plane in your airline, and get advanced statistics and time calculations, so you always stay up-to-date. We will give you a multitude of tools to choose from and you can decide which ones you want to use. Almost all features such as the participation in the global economy, realistic aircraft turn-arounds and flight plan management are optional. If you want, you can simply get your unique callsign and fly. Getting a detailed overview of all your airline’s flights is essential if you want to compete in a global economy and rank yourself against other airlines. The live map gets regular updates from the system and checks if the flight is still in the timeframe or deviating from its planned course. That way you will know immediately when problems such as delays occur. Flight plans are essential for a smooth operation. Airline managers can easily file and validate one-time or recurring flight plans in the airline dashboard. Other pilots from your airline will then be able to use them for their flights. You can manage your planes by making them unique. Just as in real life you would have to fly from your last location, pilots will have to fly from the last known location of a plane. Unique aircraft will add yet another layer of realism to the overall management of your airline. This is just a first look into our extensive airline system, over the coming weeks we will release more information about the airline economy and give you a chance to register your airline in the Rotate Network.
Introduce: One Engine Out Airway's VA
Björn Tuma posted a topic in AirlinesHey folks, after watching the first pic's of this project, i spoke to my staff. We are all very interessted in it. We would like to expand our service also to the rotate network, if possible, and would like to support rotate within our possibility's. I would like to introduce my Airline: We are a small Community of the Twitch streamer "Blackbox 711". He is as former A320 captain who provides us with highly detailed and technical information regarding aviation in general and the A320 in particular. This includes background knowledge, SOPs (standard operating procedures) and how to deal with failures, topped up with anecdotes from his flying carreer. One of the recurrent themes is engine failures and how to tackle them and Blackbox is always more than happy to ditch one or sometimes even two engines (hence the name of our community!) just to show us his superb flying skills by pulling off a perfect emergency landing a few minutes later. Additionaly we providing a Flight Academy. We fill the Academy with topics from time-to-time, to make your start with online-flying on a network, easier! Another feature of his streams is the group flights with the community. From that an idea was born: why not to create a virtual airline, where you can fly with other people - or do it later on your own - to train yourself to become a good virtual pilot. The main goal of this is not to get a virtual airline, which works like the real thing. Rather, the goal is to get all the information, hints, tipps, tricks and know-how together to increase our flight experience and share our common passion for aviation. Everybody is free to join! There are no special rules for this airline, except having fun, and being respectful and friendly to each other. If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to contact someone of the Airline. Additinal Operation Zones: Operating in FSEconomy Operating in AirHauler2 Creating special Events (Tour's with multiple Leg's, Groupflights on network, etc..) If you have questions regarding OEO, please feel free to ask below this topic or contact me via info[at]oneengineout.com Best regards, Björn Founder OneEngineOut Airways VA www.oneengineout.com
